My fiance is in the construction field and I make his lunch every morning. Lately, I discovered the 'bento' thing and his meals have improved (as well as his weight). One gets tired of sandwiches (we've been through all the options) and salads (different ones of those, too), and all the bento cookbooks have a lot of ethnic asian food he wouldn't eat. His jobsites do not have microwaves so whatever he takes will be eaten cold. Any new ideas/recipes?

Which is not to say he doesn't like asian foods. Today he took a ground-beef and broccoli with soba noodles, and tomorrow is a cold chukasoba with chicken schezuan. He just doesn't want fried eel with sushi and a diakon salad.

Wrap sandwiches are very good and you can use anything to put inside.
You start with a tortilla, which they have a huge variety of types, I look for the fat free ones and make sure there are no trans fats used to make them.
One of our favorites consists of...
any meet IE..chicken strips, roast beef, ham, hummus, beans...
Broccoli slaw- you can get this in the bagged veggie section, it is really good and good for you.
Cheese if you like, you can use any type.
tomatoes
olives
avocado
and if you like dressing or we use a bit of olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
Good and good for you....but most importantly....super easy and adaptable.

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://bitly.im/aMmG4
The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

attempt doing wraps with classic sandwich filling. they're hassle-free to make and you're able to purchase a team of distinctive aspects and make many categories of wraps. It looks such as you do no longer could project approximately transporting issues in a lunch field because's a project - yet once you prefer recommendations for portable lunches look into my internet site. in case you come back up with neat recommendations, sign-up for the positioning (that's unfastened) and share them with us - we will calculate foodstuff for you and then positioned up it on the positioning, crediting you by way of fact the guy who submitted the object and created it (in case you probably did, if no longer we'd credit the recipe source). good success with your project - it sounds exciting! :) Amy
