Question about Ireland (Eire) i guess?

hi, i am an Asian planning to study in ireland. m going to do my bachlors in business admnistration. i have already heard n admitted alot that Ireland apreciate skilled people to work in the republic, so can i find a job after compleation of my degree(a full time job) i mean what is the ratio of foreigners been employed in Ireland after compleating their degree in Ireland... also how much you pay them approximately????? is Ireland grow as a well established country to promote foreigners in ireland?? Only serious answers please and detailed answers are preffered

First thing. Ireland is not England with a different accent. The culture is different, and part of that is you may not find Ireland as "politically correct" as its neighbour to the east.

Having said that, Ireland is a great place to live if you don't mind the weather. There is a growing foreign community within Ireland and there is no discrimination about pay that I am aware of. It has to be said that numbers are still relatively low when compared to, say, London or the English Midlands. Think more like Scotland outside the big cities. There is a larger Asian community in the North however. There are good jobs available in all technical skills.

I will end on another warning note though. Property prices have gone through the roof in the past ten years. In Dublin, expect London prices. The cost of living is also among the highest in the Euro zone. Few bargains to be had, I'm sorry to say.

There are lots of foreigners working in Ireland -in all kinds of jobs. Most of them would not have studied in Ireland, so your chances are even higher. Ireland employs alot of foreigners because they are good hard reliable workers and usually cause little problem. I think you have a great chance of work when you have your degree. The better your english, the higher your chances are too. I don't know what pay you would be on as I don't know what job you would be likely to get. The minimum wage is currently €7.65c per hour. It will probably have gone up when your degree is finished, depending on the economy then. You may not necessarily start on the minimum wage either. You may get higher. I have a friend in Ireland who is a nurse. He came to Dublin from the Phillipines three years ago. So yes Ireland does accept skilled people.
It is quite a nice place to live.
