Well my sister is in love with this guy (we are all friends) who considers her a very good friend and vise versa. Well she has been flirting with him for about a month now. She dresses more girlish and her whole body language is different ( this is how I know she wanted just to be more than friends, before she told me). The guy still doesn't get it. He thinks she likes someone but is keeping from him. He teases her about it daily. Actually my sis and I have notice a change in him as well, he seems jelouse about the fact she might like someone, he calls more than before just to make sure she is home, and instead of going out in groups he has rathered it be a double date situtation with my boyfrien, sister, him and I or rather alone with my sis. But when they talk about more than the friends issue he replies that she likes someone else and he couldn't because they are like bro and sis and doesn't want to ruin the friendship. Can you help us!

I can't talk about other guys, just about myself.
When I was young I didn't get it either, maybe it was caused by bad experience, that I was fooled by a girl who threw herself at me and laughed on me when I wanted to get closer with her.
Maybe it was a lack of self esteem, that I classified a woman 'above my range' and did not consider her to be serious, or maybe just call it 'social dumbness', because I didn't react on body language and just ignored it.

But we ar living in the 21st century, why doesn't she just walk to him and ask him to have a date?

Maybe the girl is not attractive to him. I've had several dogs ask me out and practically throw themselves at me. Its hard to say "no" when you dont want to hurt her feelings. But at the same time, he needs to be honest with her.

He has already given her an answer. There is no room for denial, he said he wants nothing more than friendship, so what else is there to do? God bless*

Maybe he gets it, but doesn't want it.
