They have right to be vegan and you have right to eat a warm meat lunch of any type. You seem like your a considerate person... they are not keeping kosher or something of that nature so I think you should feel ok about heating up your meat.
I would keep on keeping on ... be nice and stay off the meat / vegan subject with your coworkers.
*** PS Just make sure your lunch is not splattering in the micro... if it does clean it up ... they should do the same.

I also have a vegan group of indie's working in my office. I think as a general rule, they are used to the rest of the world eating meat, and they understand that the rest of the world eats meat.
Unless your food is like fish (fish should NEVER be warmed up in a community microwave or office - two words - STINK Y!) or something else unusually smelly, I would not worry about it.
You may run into some that try to foist their beliefs on you (similar the way non-smokers rail against smokers) but for those folks, they have a character flaw, not a right to insist the world around them bends to their liking.
If some of them get miffed, you just need to decide if you can deal with whatever evil eyes they give you when you cook. You don't have to be snotty with them, but as long as you clean up any splatters and after yourself in general, you should feel free to use the microwave as much as they do, and not feel guilty about your choice to eat meat.
As I said, the "good vegans" will understand that others around them may not make the same choices they do (and while you're at it, take a bite of that burger for me too!)

I appreciate your sensitivity on this matter, I think that shows a lot about your character. But really and truly this is their problem and not yours.
Possibly cover your food so there aren't food splatters all over the microwave that could possibly get in their food would be my only suggestion.
They can be grossed out, and if you feel uncomfortable using the microwave due to their reaction, maybe just bring vegan friendly food to show them that you are trying to support their cause without compromising your beliefs.
My parents keep Kosher but I do not, but as courtesy and respect for them, when they come over for dinner or when we go out to dinner we are always cautious of what we order so we don't offend them.

If you are bothered by it, ask them what they would prefer. You are being conscientious of others' wants and needs, and I'm appalled that some people don't have that common courtesy any more, and are advising you *not* to concern yourself with that. Asking them will clear the air, (pun intended) and not cause any grief. Also, clean out the microwave when you're done with it. A quick wipe with a water and bleach solution should do the trick!

There really isn't anything you can do. If you want, you can buy a microwavable cover to cover up your food so it doesn't splatter everywhere, but other than that, they need to learn the microwave is for everyone and they can't expect the world to stop eating meat for them.

If it's a public microwave, they will have to learn to just share it. If there are 2, then designate one for them. You want to assist them and respect their dietary habits but it doesn't mean you should suffer. If it bothers them that much they should bring a vegan sandwiches or order out.

Being Vegan is a political movement as well as a choice.
You simply don't agree and want to eat meat.
They are not trying to be mean - they percieve themselves as wanting to help you make better choices.
Ultimately, it's ok for them to be vegan and make their OWN choices.... but not yours.
You might just want to avoid bringing in the really gross, smelly stuff like meaty chilli... anything with an awful odor.... yuk! I eat meat sometimes but I still don't like to smell gross things that interfere with the flavor of my food.

Start eating raw meat in front of them if they complain about the microwave.
