I drive a 2004 Ford F-250 Power Stroke, 4x4 Off road Crew Cab. Easy on fuel and I have had NO problems with it. In the RV world, I believe I see more Power Strokes than the others.
I do believe the Dodge and the Duramax are very good also. My nephew had a Duramax and had transmission problems. Good luck. Pops

You are trying to start a fight in here aren't you?
Everyone has their own preference as to brand so expect some heated arugments and stupid remarks for asking your question.
I prefer Dodge. Can't beat a Cummins in my opinion. Most people do not know that Cummins has been building engines for tractor trailers for years. If you're looking for torque, you will have plenty!
Second choice would be a Ford.

DODGE CUMMINS BY FAR. THEY HAVE BEEN AROUND SO LONG. THEY ARE ALSO IN INLINE 6 INSTEAD OF A V8, SO THEY WILL ALWAYS GET BETTER GAS MILEAGE.THE COMPANY I WORK FOR HAS TRUCKS WITH POWERSTROKES IN THEM AND 2 WITH THE CUMMINS. THE TWO WITH THE CUMMINS ARE ALWAYS TOWING 12,000 OR MORE. THEY HAVE HAD TO REBUILD EVERYONE OF THE POWERSTROKES, BUT HAVE ONLY HAD TO DO USUAL MAINTENENCE ON THE DODGE.

they are all good just depends on your preference. I'd personally go with the dodge just cause I like dodges. And the cummins diesel is pretty hard to beat...it is a true diesel.
