I don't think we should. The obvious answer is to save money. But as far as saving the planet? Heck most people have it wrong! The planet has been here long before us and will be here long after us! Besides what's wrong with global warming? I'm all for it! I hate the cold weather. So, really it's for the survival of our species.

The average American Home was built taller as a response to the desires of families across America.
Because of the increased size, the electric bill for cooling/heating the house is bigger, this means that the US has to by more oil or use other non renewable resources to keep the comfort. Needles to add that oil will run out in the short future and there is no new technology in place to replace oil.That is why.

to save the planet at least! A major part of our power comes from power stations that use carbon fuel, so we need to ease the demand on these and maybe we ca just cut down on carbon emissions.

so we don't have pay too much on the bills...lol...

electricity comes from power plants that burn up fossil fuels to get the electricity so it's toxic to the environment...by saving electricity, we won't have to release too much toxic into the air...
