You don't have to endure it. Tell your roommate to stop. That is rude. He/or she may not realize they are slamming the door. Talk it over.

Rubber bumpers or find another roomate.
Asking is worth a try, but old habbits die hard and most people are really inconsiderate anyway - why do you think we have a 50% divorce rate?

Tell him to cut the Sh*t!
Throw a beer bottle at him or something.
Tell him your gonna slam his head against the wall if he keeps it up...
If the roomie is Female...well..you know...ask her nicely...

Talk to him/her. The individual might not realised it! I have a co-worker who does just that. After speaking to him, he apologised and never happens again (it was his habit, something he did subconsciously).
