Depends on if it is in your own country.......to fight in the US Army 17 with parents permission to join the military other than that 18.

Old enough to carry a AK.......
Many 3rd world nation employ child soldiers. Not Legal, but rather common to see a AK carrying 12yr old in say Somolia. Internationally the standard is 18. Many have been known to lie about their age as well. The youngest Medal of Honor winner I think was only 15.

Depends on whos attacking. if you are in a defensive posistion the age is probaly when your big enough to hold a gun. Or a slingshot. Or whatever your using to fight back with. In USA 18, but you cant drink a beer in a bar.

In America 18, but if you are alive you can fight goes for 3rd world countries. just look at africa all the kids running around with aks

war is hell. But compared to WWI & II, the current war is a day in the park. If we fought today like we did in I & II, we would already be out of Iraq.

In the U.S 18 years old. Iraq, Iran, Palestine there have been 9 year olds shooting at American soldiers.

The minimum age for enlistment in the U.S. is 17 and you have to have a guardian sign for you then.
