Be brave and be a fool.
Talk to anyone you want too. I do and it works most times.
I start with a compliment or a question. Ask them about them> and so and so on.
Before you know it you have new friends.

It depends on what kinds of friends you are thinking of. To make casual friends is not that hard for most people. All you need to do is to be more active in everything --- join more clubs, attend some evening courses, never miss a friend's party... To make really good, lasting friends on the basis of mutual love, respect and appreciation is a different story. You need to be in the right place doing the right thing if you want to meet the right people. Common interest and similar values will be necessary for two strangers to feel connected and gradually develop a strong and caring friendship. Try to cultivate some healthy interest and you will find it not that difficult to meet like-minded people. Always remember, real friends are seldom those you meet in discos, parties or pubs.

Join a social group Springs_inColorado like I did. Post an introduction and join the members for some activities and you will make some friends.
I don't like to go out alone and this way I get to go out more.

its easy to make friends but its hard work keeping them.friendship is like any relationship you have both got to make an effort.i have friends ive known for many years we make a point of keeping in touch regularly i dont call people who send you a christmas card once a year friends one of my friends died last month and theres now a big hole left in my life your welcome to try filling it,
