God could have not been designed by an intelligent creature because humans made him up, yet man is not intelligent enough to accept science.

Like, humans? Almost every culture on earth has some sort of religion involving worship of some sort of omnipotent being. Obviously, somebody came up with the notion of a 'God' somewhere along the lines of fire, language, and agriculture.

Impossible.
Whoever designs and creates anything out of nothing is God.
God himself was not designed or created. He was, is, and will be--outside of space and time, no beginning, no end. Just is.
