There is such a huge debate about homosexuals and God. So many people are saying "Oh, Gay people are bad and they can't inherit god's kingdom." Their basis for this is 1Corinth. 6:9, 10. But WHY do people take one part of the bible and disregard the other? Are you aware that in that scripture which talks about homosexuals not inheriting God's Kingdom- fornicators, adulterers, drunkards, idolators, revilers, extortioners- among many- are included? So those people that are pointing their fingers at homosexuals- take a look at urself. No doubt 90% of the world is-if not ALL- guilty of at least one of these....
So it's not only homosexuals. Let not a man take one part of the bible and judge someone else when he is sinning himself. So don't think that because you aren't gay, you in the clear and OK. The bible lists several people who aren't going to inherit that kingdom of God b/c of their actions.

Let me also make it clear that I am NOT in any way praising homosexuals. My view on hommosexuals is NO different than the bible's view of immorrality(for example premarital sex, fornicatons, adultery.)

Roy30... i actually disagree w/ u. I honestly believe that Jehovah's Witnesses try to follow the bible as a whole, not following one part, and disregarding the other.Studying the bible with them has made me see the hypocrisy in the world and in other religions...

Jehovah's Witnesses are remarkably consistent with the Christian ideal. The more one compares this Christian religion with others, the more remarkable it is shown to be.
1. Jehovah's Witnesses have no paid clergy. Yet they remain tightly organized with more than 6.5 million active Jehovah's Witness preachers (about 16 million associate themselves with the religion). Even fulltime preachers and workers at their branch offices are unpaid volunteers.
2. There is no elite class among Jehovah's Witnesses. Even the few 'anointed' among them enjoy no special privileges in their congregations on earth. An anointed person (one of those relative few with a heavenly hope) is not elevated above his fellow congregants in any way, and he may not even qualify for appointment as a simple 'deacon' or elder. There are no titles; EVERYONE is addressed as 'brother' or 'sister'.
3. No person benefits economically from the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Even the 8 to 20 men who serve on their Governing Body receive simply room, board, medical care, and reimbursement for certain personal expenses according to the exact same provision as every other branch volunteer.
4. About a hundred men have served on Jehovah's Witnesses' Governing Body committee during the past 125 years or so. The vast majority of them have spent the vast majority of their adult lives volunteering for their organization's purposes, and the vast majority have died faithfully and near-pennilessly while still under their legal 'vow of poverty'.
5. Amazingly, Jehovah's Witnesses did not splinter as a sect from some other religion. Instead, a truly tiny but sincere group of bible students studied only the Scriptures to determine the will of God. Thus their religion remains absolutely independent of and not carrying the sins of Christendom's history, yet carries the authority of Christ's teachings.
6. Despite the distortions of anti-Witnesses, throughout their modern history Jehovah's Witnesses have refused to claim divine inspiration or infallibility for their teachings. They have pointed to the bible (and not any particular translation) as the only inspired infallible means of knowing God's thoughts. For over 125 years, their teachings have been presented as merely the results of sincere bible research by imperfect but godly humans.

Yes all of those things will not inherit the kingdom of God- True! But when a question arises on the subject of homosexuality that is the scripture we provide- along with the ones in Leviticus. If someone were to ask about fornication or idolaters- or any of those others I too would give them that scripture. It applies to all of those sins! Sin is sin.

I agree with you, but that is why God has forgiven us of those sins. I am a Christian and I don't point fingers at anyone else because I know I will have twice as many pointing back at me. I am nobody elses judge and I leave that all up to God. It is not my place all I know is that anything I have done in the past I am living right for the now because if I don't God will be my judge. Sin is for a season.

sister , you are correct if a person is living in any of these conditions they are not saved,,, they can be if they repent,,,but the definition of repent is to turn away from,,, no more practicing the sinful act,,, don't get so hung up on judging sister, how are we to warn people of sin,,,,, telling someone God said something is not judging them ,,, its only repeating what God told us to tell them,,, besides,,, in the bible God tells us we are to judge all things,,, how can you make a decision of what to do or not to do without judging in yourself if it is right or wrong,,, love and prayers,,, i kinda get a kick out of people that talk like that ,,, don't judge lest you be judged,,,, if we read this Scripture , we need to finish it to don't you agree? read it your self,,,, that's not all of the verse.... besides ,,,if i tell some they are a gay or lier or what ever it may be,,,,, does that make it so? so where is the judgment... if i stone someone for being one of these,,,, i have set judgment on them,,, do you understand? reproof and exhortation is need for all of us as follows of Christ,,, else we will stray from the truth,,, God bless

You are quite right. Many of the loudest "gay bashers" are openly and deliberately practicing many of those other sins, and not feeling the least bit guilty about it. That's why Jesus referred to judgmentalism as being hypocritical.

Excellent point - I believe that most people read the bible in a very selective way. This is just more evidence of that.
