my dog just ate a hole tube of lipgloss. is anything going to happen to him?

He'll probably have diahrea and an upset stomach, but I don't think it will do any lasting damage. It's happened to my dogs before.

Your canines is going to be 100% ok! All lipgloss is is petroleu jelly or a water-depending substance, supplements ans minerals. and then some coloring and flavoring! And Lip Smackers produces very gentle products anyhow being that maximum of their customers are little ones. he will be ok, yet his breath may scent a touch sweet (; purely be confident that each and every thing else on your position is out of attain so he won't be able to chew up something else which could be doubtlessly volatile!

Same thing happened here. My lab, who is a young dog of 6 or 7 months old ate a whole tube of bath and body works five dollar lip gloss! I was so mad, but she was completley fine. He'll be fine, promise. He may have some dirreiaha, or upset stomach but other than that, he'lll be fine.

Your dog will be fine... if anything the lipgloss may act as a laxative, so make your dog go potty a lot!!

Call you vet and find out how much there really is to worry about. You can always give your dog some peroxide which will induce vomiting (amount depends on dog's size), but again, CALL YOUR VET. They'll tell you the right thing to do.

Yeah, like what everyone else said...it'll give him Diharea and he might have an upset stomach. Ugh, I remember when my old dog ate some of my mom's lipstick. :( Eww...atleast he was potty trained to go outside.

My dog did that too. He just had an upset stomach, theres nuthing to worry about, trust me. he may also have some BAD SMELLIN' gas....LOL...just make sure if he has diarreah for several days then just take him to the vet and see whats up.

not a thing, my dogs eat lip gloss like it's candy if i leave it laying around. They are both happy and healthy...
