I'm 21 and have recently returned from 6 months abroad. While I was away I met this really really great guy who I've been crazy about ever since. I can't stop thinking about him. The only catch is, he lives in australia and I live in Ireland!! Talk about long distance!!! I've been home three weeks and I'm missing him somethin terrible. We talk on the phone every night and when we're not talking to eachother we're texting. It's seems to be working for now but I'm not sure I can keep it up for very long. I hate not seeing him every day like I have for the past 6 months. We have discussed one of us moving to accomadate our relationship but i'm just not sure that's feasible. What do u think? If u were in my position would u pursue the relationship? Any feedback would be great! Thank you in advance..

Chalk this relationship up 2 "GOOD MEMORIES" Unless you are the resources to go back every other week and even then it wouldn't work because of the alternate weeks apart. With Distance and absence also love separates pretty soon someone else comes along who is always there and you grow fond of, someone who fills the void. I know It hurts but it gets better. Just tell him/her that (Very Clea`) if it was meant to be then it will happen. This world is smaller than u think. Or there's the alternative. Your a big girl now 21 years old right? Get off your *** and move to Australia If it's what you want. You only live ONE TIME Do what makes YOU happy. And all ways remember "YOUR THE MASTER OF YOUR OWN DESTINY SO GIVE AND TAKE THE BEST THAT YOU CAN!)
Go 4 it & good luck

If you really care for this guy, then you should try to keep it going. I have never been able to keep a long distance relationship going. They usually don't work because you want to see each other so much, but can't, or the other one gets involved with someone else and the calls, messages and things like that just stop. I would say they aren't worth it, especially after you get your phone bill! LOL Just think about it and figure out what's best for you and him. Good Luck!

If you feel like you don't want to live without him.. ever since you have been back.. then you should persue the relationship because that is what will make you happy.. Life is all about change.. that what you are suppose to do .. You are young..it's not like you can't come back, if it's not what you thought it would be.. I turned 24 this year, and i have a 4 year old little girl she has arleady lived in 6 diff states.. and we are both just fine.. take the opportunity.. Life is about love and Happiness, and change is Okay

Well, my long distance relationship isn't really working.

But then, I've caught him lieing. I even correspond with his ex gf, and for some ungodly reason, I believe her more than I do him.

It's up to you. Why can't you move there, or he there? You make it sound like a great relationship, so TRY and cut the problem out of the way........the distance.

well are you willing to leave everything you have? I mean what if you do and the whole thing doesn't work out. Look what you have lost...plus, you haven't known him for very long. He's great now but you don't REALLY know a person until you live with them and are married to them. Once you're married it's a whole different story. This is just my opion, just follow your heart.

i have been in 2. One did not artwork, yet i imagine it replaced right into a lot less because of the gap and extra because i replaced into 18 and by no potential feeling like being tied to at least one human being. the different honestly worked exceptionally nicely until eventually after virtually a three hundred and sixty 5 days we ultimately lived interior an similar city, lol. again, although, that one ended for motives thoroughly unrelated to the gap, because by the time it ended we were residing decrease than 2 miles from one yet another. edit: lol @ Siar

i'm in a long distance relationship myself right now...

it's still fairly new for both of us, but there is talk, and tentative plans for me to move closer to her... if there was no chance of one of us moving to the other, i wouldn't be able to continue the relationship... it'd hurt the both of us to much...

last time i saw her in person, we were both crying for an hour while waiting for my plane at the airport... (we are 5000 mile away from each other, 8050km) I almost missed my flight because i didn't want to leave her...

if there is a plan to move closer, i would stick with it (and am)...

If you really have a deep connection with him then go for it. Do whatever feels right in your heart. Ask yourself these questions..
1.)"Will I be happy without him?"
2.)"Do I really want a serious 100% commited relationship?"
3.)"Does he better me as a person?"

If you two are really meant to be together, it will happen =)

A long distance relationship will be very worth it if both of you will be committed with each other. You will know if he is really worth waiting for if he really loves you.
