sometimes my daughter will send me little video of my grandson that she has taken on her camera. I can't view them why?

You need software that is compatible with her camera's.
There are many generic software vid programs- mostly free.
At least one should be a default viewer on your computer, like Windows Viewer.
If that isn't working, try downloading RealPlayer or QuickTime.
Both have free versions, and one or the other should work.

Most Digital 'still' cameras, that also allow a video capture option, use a format that can be played using Quicktime. Quicktime is a audio/ video player software, which is absolutely free to download.

Your problem will be 100% solved using Quciktime. You can get it at;

If your computer is Windows based choose the appropriate option.

Either free program QuickTime or RealPlayer can work, might be the problem is with the sender.

I have a olympous digital cam and my laptop requries that I have quicktime to put mini videos on. Maybe u need that.

either the format it's in is not playable by the media player you have, or maybe you don't have one at all . . .
