im kinda trying to lose like ten pounds right now and i wanted to know what the best diet is and what the normal amout of calories is to be eating in a day? also, im a grazer so i wanted to know what foods can i eat that will keep me full for a looooooong time!

It depends on how much you weigh, eating between 900-1000 calories is unhealthy, it will put your body in starvation mode, your metabolism will excessively slow down and won't loose anything.

I am in a 1,200-1,500 calorie diet and with excercise loose on average 1 pound a week and in rare occasions 2or3.
If you want this weight to stay off, the slower the better try loosing 1-2 pounds a week.

As for foods, try high-protein foods. Also, beans, lentils that kind of stuff gives you a lot of energy with few calories. Whole wheat is also very good for you.

And drink lots and lots of water (8-12 cups a day). This will speed up your weight loss and make you healthier.

Eat around 900-1,000 cals a day. That will drop you 200 cals a day and in a week it can help you loose up to 2-5 lbs depending how much you weight. Believe it or not the bigger the person, the more cals get burned off. Skinny people dont burn cals quite as quickly.
Dont eat before bed and fill up on fiber and pasta that helps keep you full..
try rice pasta. which has 180 cals per plate rather than 380 from regular spageitti!
Fiber like low fat baked goods, instant Oatmeal and dairy products like low fat cheese, yogurts and even a 1 yoak 3 egg white omelt is filling. Breads that are low in fat and filling like 12 grain will help keep the munchies away.
Just keep track of the sugars.. the more fiber in the food the less the sugars will become fat in your body.

To lose a pound you need to burn 3500 calories more than you eat. Fruits and vegetables and good fillers. Salad is also, however the dressing is high in fat and calories. Dump the hamburgers, fries and soft drinks. Check out the links and it will help you determine what you should weigh and the calories for different activities.

to set a calorie count at this point would be hard to try to accomplish. If you don't mind counting calories. start by counting your calorie intake now, once you have determined this number multiply by .75 (take three quarters of it) and continue eating the foods you normally eat just less of them. This was you will not change your body chemistry by much and you will loose weight. Hope this helps....

u need to have at least 1000+ calories a day to prevent u from starving and 10 pounds is losing like 60,000 calories
