yeah, its preserved fruit. Some are lost in heating up and over time. But making your own jam and eating over the winter is much better than buying stuff in the supermarkets.

Yes it does but honestly because of the amount of sugar in the product the vitamins dont mean anything in your body. Sugar isn't very good for you. If you love jam go for all natural organic jams and gellies that wont have added sugar but still taste great. It might cost an extra $3.00 a jar but you dont have all that sugar! Jam lasts forever anyway.

you need to get the real fruit spreads. Jam's and marmalades have a minimal ammount of vitamins but a lot is lost in the processing. The real fruit spreads are a little more expensive but so much better for you.

This is the only thing I could find that even LISTED vitamins for the nutrition facts:

My guess was yes, beacuse they're made from fruit...and this was for Polaner All-fruit, and there are no vitamins. I also searched for Smuckers and no vitamins were even listed...go figure! Maybe I was wrong!
I also looked on the containers in my 'frige and they weren't listed, either!

They are going to contain the majority of the vitamins that the fruit from which they are made contained, especially marmalade since it is made with the peel (which contains the most vitamins).

If they have real fruit in them, especially if they're homemade and have no preservatives, they should have some. Read the labels.
