Each country has its own immigration laws. Most require anyone, American or not, to have a valid reason for moving to their country. Usually, a job is the biggest reason. Line up a job and you will surely be able to move to that country.

They rejected my application because I don't have a hundred grand in the bank. Mexico will take me conditionally, Canada will take me conditionally. Both require me to prove that I am not going to work there and have a visible means of support. I have not checked into any other countries, but my brother in law emigrated to Costa Rica when he retired and they had the same requirements. If you do not have a guaranteed income, they do not want you. Most other countries want money, not workers. So if you need to work for a living your prospects are limited.
