Have the dog's body cremated. Bury the cremains where you can go to visit. Put a big stone over the place so you can find it when you want to. Cry for 7 days. Then remember the good for the rest of your days.

I know how hard that can be, I personally will never forget my dog but, when he passed away my parents got me a new dog and I thought it just won't be the same. But luckily he is a funny character and although he isn't the same he is awsome to be with. All dogs have different personalities and they are wonderful to be with. Hopefully you will discover that too. Good Luck and Sorry about your loss.

You must greive the loss of your dog. Non-animal lovers do not understand, but it is okay to cry, miss your dog, and even miss a day of work or school. I honestly wouldn't get a new dog immediately until you feel you are 100% ready...because no animal will replace the one you've just lost. In time, you may or may not allow yourself to get a new one. I'm very sorry.

Do you mean with his body? You can bury it or have it creamated. Check your phone book or call a local vet for a creamation service. They will come to your house to pick it up.

Bury it. Or, take it to the vet to get cremated. Then, you can either get another dog or not.

There are also pet cemeteries (I have seen several in Michigan) that you can have your dog buried in. They have services, caskets, tombstones, etc.
