Do you have any type of discharge? If you do, please have your Mom take you to see a doctor as soon as you can, it maybe a yeast infection.

If you do not have any discharge, it could be a couple of things.....

Maybe an allergic reaction? Has your Mom change brands of laundry soap/bleach/softener? How about bath soaps? Have you tried any new foods or drinks that maybe causing an allergic reaction? Or have you taken any meds you have never taken before? How about toilet paper, is it the same brand always used?

Could be your jeans are too tight (sounds funny but it can make you itchy and uncomfortable if your jeans are 'creeping' up in that area)

Are you having any problem urinating? burning? discolored urine? (again I know sounds funny but it could be a bladder or kidney infection)

If it is none of the above, I suggest having your Mom take you to see a doctor anyway, better to be safe.

Good luck!!!

Evidently your a teenager or younger and when you say you haven't done anything I hope you're referring to sex.....
It sounds like a yeast infection......thongs can definitely cause yeast infections....especially if you wear like tight fitting clothes with them.....

Yeast infections make your vagina feel very uncomfortable and depending on how long it goes untreated the itching can become unbearable.....you didn't mention if you had any discharge or not....
But with yeast infections you would have a discharge that looks like cottage cheese. (4real)

Maybe you should consider being checked....better to be safe than sorry.....tell your mom.....

And why are you wearing thongs anyway?

Good Luck Sweetie

Have you had a cold recently? Is the answer is yes, did your doctor put you on any antibiotics?
If yes...then you may have a yeast infection from a chemical imbalance in your make up. Totally normal. I also know women that get yeast infections from wearing silk panties vs cotton, or even taking a bath with no tampon. Grown woman should never take a bath w/out inserting a tampon first...your just sitting a tub of your own filth. GOOD LUCK!!

I would give that thought some creedence. Try going without the thongs for a day or two and see if it goes away. Then at least you can eliminate that and think of possibily a yeast or bacterial infection.

You may have bacterial vaginosis or a yeast infection. See your gyno and they'll help you out.

Your mom might be right. Sometimes when it can't breathe or material is too close, you will get itchy.

Best suggestion is to check w/your gyno. Don't try anything over the counter.

If you wear tight pants all the time that can cause yeast infections. It could be an std. Go to the doctor to get checked out. It could also be a vaginal discharge.

honey most likely it is the thong's. most girls dont know this but thongs cause yeast infections and other diseases. so i would go somewhere and get that tested! dont feel bad, but this is another option and its gross you might have some kind of crabs, there not only transmitted through sex but from public restrooms and things like that. or trying on undergarments at the store.
