Get someone to massage your upper back and into your neck and head. Or, go see a massage therapist. I get headaches that debilitate me, advil and drugs alike just cover up the symptoms, massage can get rid of the headache and help prevent more. There are at least 20 muscles that when they are under stress or being strained, like studying for school, refer pain to the head, resulting in mass headaches. Sometimes applying something like tigre balm to the neck muscles, front and back helps too.

If you can get a cup of warm water and put a half a teaspoon of cayenne poweder in it and drink it three times a day you will never have headaches ever againg. The cayenne thins your blood so that your brain gets all the oxygen it needs. But most people won't do it and want to use drugs instead because they are easier, even if they do cause more damage than repairing.

I can't take that headache stuff. I usually boil a pa of water with 2 table spoons of salt in it ,then stand over the steam. Be careful not too close it's hot. but it works and works real good. If you can't do that use a heat pad.Feel better soon Okay

Drink two glasses of water. It's true and it can help. Often headaches are caused by your body's lack of water -- a couple of glasses of water will rehydrate you and alleviate the headache. It usually works for me (unless I have a muscular or tension headache or some other more serious migraine-y type of headache).

If at all possible, start with some water and then you can drink some sort of caffeine. If you ever look at a bottle of Excedrin Tension Headache, one of the main ingredients is caffeine. But make sure you are hydrated.

You can try some ice in the palm or your hand. If that doesn't work then go to the health office and see what they can do for you.

Try breathing slowly and deeply. Try to relax all your muscles, especially the ones in your neck and shoulders.
