It's only because we passed that many years ago. They're just unsure of themselves and need a little reassurance. I remember how desperate for confirmation I was 18 years ago. There's no harm in giving advise to build the confidence. But if you're irritated by them, there's nothing wrong with that either. Just move onto the next question :)

You are referring to the REAL adolescents. These questions you are talking about are questions from young teens and school age children. I usually just pass them up and hopefully the other school age kids will answer their questions for them. Its a good learning tool for them to help each-other like that. I get annoyed too, I just have to remember, I was that age once :) Blessed be

First I'm 52 with a 19 year old daughter.
These "stupid" questions, are sometimes honest and heartfelt. They are just as stupid when they come from your kids or grandkids. Except you know how they feel. Answering them can be good practice help you to some day be a better parent. Something we all want to be.

They grate on me a bit, but I pass them by and read and answer the questions that strike me as interesting, or at least that I can provide an answer on.
We were all there once, and really whats worse is that there's grown people who need to turn here for advice.

Oh cut them some slack, we were all teenagers once! When they grow up they'll realise someone will only notice them if they want to, but until then smile and be tolerant!

I've got to go with you on this one. Young love, pass the bucket.
Sandy don't take it personally, but wouldn't this sort of thing be better discussed with people in your own peer group, and not here where you are open to silly anwers.

well it must interest u if u've taken the time to write about it.. u're even giving it press man,
what's worse: the questions ..
or your question about the question???
they are really important issues to those "teenagers", and they are real... remember there is always someone out there with a bigger problem than u
must be me in this case coz i even cared enough to answer ur question about the question!! :)
cut them some slack, they'll laugh about it themselves when they are older! :)

I've had enough of them. Could we have an "Adults" cataegory of Yahoo Answers? Over-21, or even Over-35?
