What the hell. The single mothers want guys like us to help them look after other men's kids. That may be our only option.

To say "find someone for a relatioinship" it implies it is not in sight or misplaced. Ruling out misplaced, it leaves "not in sight".

I don't know about where you live, but single women are all over the place here and plenty attractive ones too! And they want the same thing.

It may be that you are not being assertive enough when you see one that makes you take a second look. On that second look you are probably doing like I am and looking for a wedding ring. When you don't see one, what do you do? Do you just keep looking in awe as I do most of the time?

Maybe if you (and I) would be more assertive. Go right up and introduce yourself and tell her in your own way that you saw her and had to atleast SAY SOMETHING and take a chance!! I know it's not something you do everyday, but evidently what you (and I) are doing isn't working out as good as we would like. Is it?

I don't think that women would feel harrassed or threatened or angry for asking. I think that they might even like being noticed even if they are currently in a relationship.

One thing is for sure. The brave man dies a thousand deaths, the brave man only one! LOL

I bit the bullet and secretly (I didn't want any of my friends to know) paid to subscribe on an on line dating service.

We met, fell for each other almost instantly, talked for 2 months, were married 8 months later and have been together just over 4 years now.

We're still planning our futures together and have no intentions of getting back out into that rat race. While the thought of "playing the field" will always have it's appeal to men of any age... it's so much nicer to know you don't have to worry about what's out there because you have what makes you happy waiting for you at home.

Chatting... That's an excellent way to make friends (for a start). You can talk to whom ever you want, establish a good relationship and if it works out, we have a couple :) You wouldn't chat with someone that you don't like would you ? So nice guys don't come last...
And think about it... You don't have to meet anyone until you're sure you like them.. That rules out blind dating so that's a releaf. And of course if you happen to chat with someone and you don't like them.. you can always ignore them ;-)
There are many chat rooms that are age categorized so you can choose you category ;)

Keep looking. Don't be in a hurry. I'm 52 and I go out some. But don't fall for just anyone... IE don't lower your standards. She is out there. You might try a dating service. Better if you know someone that knows someone.
