No, No, No, and No
It does make you have the munchies, BUT it also increases your metabolism...so that's why pot-heads are skinny.
It should be legalized....Drinking is FAR worse and causes more accidents than smoking weed.
Just be safe and have fun....and if you are on any meds, ask your doctor because it could cause problems....

I guess it must be the time of year when middle schools are doing the marijuana unit in their drug-abuse prevention education. My daughter came home with some of these same questions.
Regarding marijuana and fertility: There have been some studies done that show that heavy marijuana useage decrease sperm motility (this is the ability of the sperm to swim to the ovum). It has not been established if there is a level of marijuana use sufficient to CAUSE infertility. However, if a man has borderline fertility (e.g., a naturally low sperm count or poor sperm motility), it is possible that heavy marijuana use may be sufficient to render him completely infertile.
The effect on women's fertility is not established by any published studies.
There is a lot of anecdotal evidence that heavy usage of marijuana can decrease a person's libido-- i.e., they're less likely to want to have sex.
With regards to addiction, continued use of marijuana over time causes an increased tolerance to the pharmacologically active ingredients. In other words, the more you use it, the more you need to use, quantitatively, to achieve the same "high." This is one pharmacological hallmark of physical addiction. However, there are no/few studies to reliably estabish the addictive properties of marijuana on a physiological basis. Some studies say no, some say yes, some say "it depends."
By far the more serious issues with marijuana use are: 1) it is a "gateway" drug; and 2) the possible effect its use can have on your ability to work in certain industries or get certain kinds of jobs.
Marijuana is considered a "gateway" drug in that its users have a higher rate of use of more serious drugs, such as cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine and so forth, than non-users. Basically the psychology is that once a person has overcome their inhibitions and put aside their anxieties over using marijuana, it is easier for them to do the same thing with the "harder" drugs. This doesn't mean that everyone who uses marijuana automatically goes on to other drugs, but it does mean that as a group, marijuana users are more likely to use harder drugs than people who don't use marijuana.
The career opportunity thing is serious. Many if not most jobs require applicants to take a drug test. Virtually any job that involves a security clearance will require a drug test and a lie-detector test as well, and you can bet your bippy (or whatever) that when they hook you up to the lie detector, the examiner WILL ask you about drug usage, including marijuana. While a truthful answer of "yes" won't necessarily mean an automatic disqualification from the job in question, it sure will mean you'll be asked a lot more questions, some of which may make you quite uncomfortable.
And of course if you're caught with marijuana and convicted of possession, use or sale of marijuana, you'll spend the rest of your life having to tell potential employers and others that you have an arrest and conviction on your record.
As I told my daughter, using marijuana doesn't automatically make someone a bad person, but it does mean that they might not have the best judgement in the world in deciding if the "high" they get is worth the risk they take.

No it doesn't effect your ability to have kids.
it doesn't make you break out, some people when that start smoking weed don't take care of there self and don't clean there self properly for some reason.
yes smoking makes you hungery but i was able to hold back my urges to eat so i'm sure you can.
just the way it effects them it might effect you differently. not everyone who smokes is a hippie. and not every hippie is skinny.

I think a lot of people smoke a lot more of it than they really need to, and too much of anything can be bad for you. It supposedly has more tar than tobacco, which is really hard on the lungs. But in moderation, I am sure it is a lot less harmfull than anything else out there. but still, some people shouldnt smoke it. It varies with the person. check this out . http://science.howstuffworks.com/marijuana.htm

You can be addicted to anything. Some people are addicted to cokacola. Others coffee, some even addicted to video games. It doesn't have to be a drug. It does not make you not be able to have children, it does effect your not-born-yet child if you smoke while pregnant. So do not attempt that. Many things cause people to break out, if you are allergic to marajuanna then yes, it could make you break out. If not, then no I have never heard of anyone breaking out with anything after smoking it. Many hypes for bud are skinny because they have an active life, use other drugs like cocaine which curbs appetites, or eats healthy foods. One of the side effects of smoking bud is the hunger feeling. Acting on it, well... that's up to you.
I recommend not smoking it altogether, that way you have nothing to worry about, right?

not addicted literally its just so nice you will want to do it everyday and you get to the point where you cant enjoy anything unless you get stoned first. you build personal relationships around it, your dealer smokes, your friends, your neighbors so you dont want to stop doing it because once you do you lose all those people around you.
I dont know if there's proof it makes you sterile but out of the three smokers in my fam none of them can have kids and they smoked from 15 until now and they are in their 30's.
never heard of it causing people to break out.
it only makes you hungry and gives you the "munchies" when you first start smoking - that goes away
it doesnt kill your brain cells you get the high feeling because you are taking in a chemical "thc" which alters things. Just like how you can take cold meds and get a small buzzed feeling. You arent killing cells just your body is reacting to the chemicals in the pot.
best advice ever - dont do it!!!

You cannot become physically addicted to it.
It has no effect on fertility.
It does not cause you to break out.
If you eat before you smoke, you won't get the munchies as bad afterwards.
Drinking is much worse for the body than smoking weed. Drinking can seriously damage your liver. Smoking anything (tobacco, etc.) damages the lungs.

Weed is not addicting! It lowers your sperm count. No it does not cause you to break out. After you smoke it for a while you get use to the hungry feeling. Don't smoke it :)

First of all....you can become addicted to the feeling of being high. Second of all...yes it makes you soooo hungry, and not all people who smoke it everyday are thin.........trust me!! Third...it can make you break out because it does have some oils in it that make some break out. That is all true!
