A healthy, well educated nation. What a effing radical idea. I think a hybrid of each is the answer. Something like an individual pays $150 per yr. and a family of 4 or more tops out at $300 per year. Someone need to take on the pharmaceutical companies. There is no reason we are charged so much for RX's. As to higher education, 2 yrs of higher education should be free, whether a college or trade school.

I know a few Cubans that are paying for their own education as well as some Cubans that the government is paying for it. Why ask this question about Cubans only?

My best friend is Cuban (born there and moved to the USA when he was a baby). He is struggling under the weight of student loans and high tuition like the rest of us who are in college right now. What are talking about, FREE COLLEGE EDUCATION?

If they are here legally it should be from grades K-12 as that is what my light skinned American butt gets. I do not know but if it is more than K-12 that is another case of discrimination as all American born citizens don't get free higher ed.
