Sweetie you are little.
I too am 5' 1" but I haven't seen 106 since my last divorce. I wish I was 106.
If you are unhappy with the tone of your body, start a light exercise program, walk, bike, yoga, whatever. It will go a long way to firming you up and give you a sence of accomplishment that will help you to be confident.
Trust me, in 15 years you will look back at today and laugh, and probably be wishing you were 106lbs.

Girl, you are not fat. I am 5 foot three and weigh about 125, but I don't look fat. It is the way my body is arranged. I have broad shoulders and hips, and bones weigh a lot. Figure out your BMI (body mass index. this helps you know how much of your body is fat and how much is not!) at this site:
http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/bmi/
If you don't feel confident in yourself, try looking in the mirror every day and complimenting yourself about how you look. Wearing a sweatshirt might not help you. Those tend to make you look even larger. If you can, find some clothes that make you feel good when you wear them. They don't have to necessarily be "in", but they should fit right. If possible, have your mom or someone you trust (someone who feels good about themselves, and compliments you as well) go with you and help you pick out some clothes that make you look good to yourself. Some people mature later than others, as far as puberty. If you feel like you are getting older and nothing is still happening as far as your figure, you can talk to a doctor, but some people just aren't very curvy. Have you seen Pride and Prejudice with Kiera Knightly? She is straight as a stick. You are beautiful the way you are because God made you that way. Contact me if you need more encouragement or help!!!!! I would love to hear from you.

five foot one and 106 lbs seems pretty tiny to me...im 5 feet and 97lbs and i feel fat too so i know where your coming from. its really hard for short people to maintain a skinny body because even if you gain 2 lbs it seems so noticable but on a good note, its the same wih losing weight so if you lose like 2 pounds youll probably feel confident in yourself a little bit more! but you really do seem tiny =)

First of all, you are petit, not fat in the least. But I am sure many people have told you this, and you have disregarded their answer and continued to obsess about your body. Fat is not a feeling, but an easy word that many women use to represent other feelings and emotions that they do not feel comfortable expressing. When you "feel fat" you are really feeling such emotions as being out of control and suffering from low self-esteem. You should talk to someone about what you are really feeling such as a counselor or another adult.

thats not fat AT ALL. so dont worry. plus u prob. have puberty weight-everyone has it-it will go away if u keep a healthy diet and excercise. dont worry what others think too...wear what ur comfortable in-not what u think others would want u to wear. if u want to wear other clothes than sweatshirts wear them gradually on the weekend when ur not busy so u dnt have the pressure of anybody staring at u

You're probably not fat, but if you feel like you are just work out. It'll make you feel better to know that you can't possibly be fat because hey, you work out, right? Try to shed the Safety Sweatshirt..tunics are all the rage, they make me feel skinnier too, (although I know I'm not fat, either) because they cover your torso and hips.

In this day and time there are so many clothes that can be bought to fit a girl's/woman's body. As long as you are healthy life is to short not to wear things that you like and to hide your body. Nobody is perfect. Make sure what you wear is age appropriate and have fun shopping.

you are NOT fat. I'm 5'4 and 125 and I have people tell me I look great. You just need more self confidence! IF you are really worried, check with your doc about your BMI, I'm sure you'll find out that you are within your expected range. I'm asuming you're also still in high school, so don't worry. you're still growing and changing

You know what yo should be doing is wearing clothes that fit you just right. I know in the binning it will feel uncomfortable but you will get use to it. And once you start getting positive attention you will see that you are not fat.
