had any that worked this long b4?Once a minute the gas is comming out of the airlock and soon will be 3 weeks.Normally the brew has completed in 7-8 days and is ready for bottling.. Has anyone out there ever made any beer out of sorghum molasses?How did you like it?Can you send your recpie?

There are a lot of variables involved. Did you check the specific gravity of the wort before pitching your yeast (to see how much sugar/potential alcohol is in your wort)? Is the temperature cooler than usual? Perhaps you have a better seal on your airlock than before. Did you pitch the same amount of the same strain of yeast? Did you aerate the wort prior to pitching? 7-8 days seems way too little time for any significant quantity of beer to ferment to bottle-ready.

Just let it go until the bubbles do stop or you'll have bottle-bombs on your shelf.
