see that seems correct to me.
look at it like this, any creature that has evolved from another creature, from what i know(mind you my knowledge is limited here) the creature they evolved from died out, so why are monkeys still around if we evolved from monkeys why are they still around???

I first read your question and I was laughing. I thought it was a satirical send up of uneducated people sniping at religion. Then I realized you weren't joking.
First off I want to point out you are attacking a straw man. You admit in your question that you don't know what evolution is or how it works, and yet you try and discredit it. You should be aware that thousands of people many times smarter than you have questioned evolution and it has survived every time.
You make a fundamental flaw in your understanding of evolution. You believe that the theory claims that humans came from monkeys. That is not what it claims. The theory of evolution states that humans and our closest genetic cousins (99% similar) evolved from a common ancestor. That is to say that there were living beings whose offspring offspring eventually evolved to what we now called chimpanzees and that same being had offspring that over generations evolved into what we are now.
It is actually a brilliant an simple theory that has withstood every scientific attack against it. You really should study it before you attack it.

your question is not meant to help anyone, it is merely so you can feel justified by making a ridiculous argument.
as a christian, why not focus on helping people find out what is the REAL focus of christianity. LOVING GOD AND OTHERS. NOT whether or not God created the earth in seven days. by arguing you further distance yourself from non believers.
As the son of a baptist minister i have witnessed too much stubborn ignorance in modern Christian culture.
I am not an atheist, and yet i believe very strongly in the principles of evolution. I think of it like this. God made a seed, (the universe) and then planted it (the big bang) IS THAT SO HARD?!??!??
I am majoring in cellular and molecular biology (3rd yr)
and i have direct access to the amazing advances that science has made in the areas of genetics, namely, how our dNA and rNA are affected by mutation and natural selection. Did you know that broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, kohlrabi, Kale, and brussels sprouts all "evolved" from the same species of common European mustard weed? 1000 years of human intervention has produced these amazingly divergent results. It makes sense when you think about the difference between a poodle and a rottwieler and a wolf.
BIOLOGIC SCIENCE IS NOT A CONSPIRACY TO TOPPLE CHRISTIANITY. scientists don't think this way.
If you would like to learn more about the subject, i suggest looking up a MODERN (2005 or later) college biology book. It may run you $100 or so but it is worth it if you want to learn about the nature of life on earth.
good luck and god bless, i really hope you figure it out.

"now if darwin or evolution is right why the monkeys are still monkeys?"
I get so sick of seeing this explained every day. I really wish people would at least attempt a quick google search before showing their ignorance. *sigh*
Monkeys don't magically turn into humans at a certain age, we share a common ancestor. Do just a slight amount of research on it, okay?
Your answer= God
My answer= Thor, although there's a compelling case for the FSM
So, where's the proof that God did it? Because the man written bible told you?

You haven't figured out grammar, logic, coherent expression, and you don't understand what you're babbling against.
How many Earth's did Adam and Eve produce if they multiplied it?
Man and monkeys came from a common ancestor which was not a monkey. Monkeys are evolving. Humans are evolving.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carpolestes_simpsoni
Humans evolved.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_evolution
Your answer may be God, but you need to do a lot of reading before you discuss evolution.
By the way, why is "the beginning of the earth is the only book that humans have to understand"? Doesn't that mean we need to study geology?

now if darwin or evolution is right why the monkeys are still monkeys?
First I am not an atheist/evolutionist. But here logic tells me that not only human beings are endowed free will. Monkeys who remain monkeys choose not to live the lush greenery forest where foods are abound. Other monkeys venture outside the forest in search of greener pastures(either forced by circumstances or voluntary) develop skills, alter their genes in the process to match a challenging environment and finally evolved into what we know as human. Of course, as we all know this process requires time to process. That's why there evidences that show bones which are half way develop from monkeys to humans.

Why can you not believe in something that has been proven? You believe in a being that just creates something from nothing but you can't believe in something that has been scientifically proven. It takes thousands if not millions of years for anything to evolve and how long have humans been around to witness it? hows about you go to your local library open your mind just a little bit and do some real research instead of just looking to your imaginary friend for the answers. Don't you think if your bible told the truth no one would even question or spend their entire life looking for the real truth or is your explanation we are the evil and trying to destroy the world

How about everybody believing how they want and the rest of us not caring how we got here? We are here, are we managing the planet with love? Besides, Adams son went to live in the Land of Nod. Did Adam have a second wife, one of his daughters maybe, to create a different populated area, Nod? If so, why is having two wives illegal if were going to persist in living the Bible way?

u cannot disprove that theory with pulling from the bible. however if u want a better way to look at it. they believe the earth is... lets say 65 billion years old. (due to carbon dating, which is measuring the halflife of carbon and seeing how much is in the artifact/rock itself - at least this is simplified version of it)... now what happened 100 billion years ago. if the material was around just waiting to explode into a working model, then shouldnt it have been aging long before that if time was infinite? this definition is stating that time had a start point of 65 billion years ago. then u ask, how did time come into play, what cause dthings to randomy start "aging"
adam and eve (if u believe in them) multiplied by incest. they were to have lived over 600 yrs, giving time for plenty of births, cain and able were not the only sons/daughters, however women at that time (time of documentation/story telling) were considered inferior to man thus reasoning (one possibility) why their names are not mention.

Wow, um, there are so many areas here where you could use a little education, not the least of which being grammar.
So, your real question is, which concept is better - the one some ancient guys made up and called "God's" creation which could never be tested or the one some fairly well educated guy came up with that has been tested and found to be valid?
Hmmm, tough one.

I'm not going to debate you on the God thing, but evolution is a SCIENTIFIC FACT - over time, species evolve. It happens within species, and it also leads to new species coming into existance.
The world was not created in 6 days, the folks who wrote the Bible were using a LITERARY METAPHOR to describe how Jehova (the God you and all other Chrisitans, Muslims and Jews worship) created the Earth and all life in it.
