I believe most atheists are struggling with inferiority complex, they call themselves "more rational", and therefore by identifying themselves with the group they think they can inherit the entire group's "IQ" and coolness. he he

I've been afraid for many years to tell anyone I'm an atheist.
To do so is to invite hatred and distrust.
If you consider that cool, then that's your prerogative.
But regardless, I don't keep quiet about it anymore. Religion has become too dire a threat as of late, to ignore it any longer. If the atheist/agnostic community doesn't speak out and educate humanity, with a quickness, we will be facing WWIII very soon.
If you religious wackos would fight each other with sticks and stones, I'd leave you to it. But now that you've been given bombs, your ignorance can no longer be tolerated...

'cool'? Cool is something you try to be or worry about not being when you're a child. Religion or lack thereof should not be a popularity contest.
