Yes! It wasn't cooked properly, and uncooked poultry can be life threatening! It can cause salmonella and food poisoning...it's the one type of meat that you really must make sure is cooked. The worrying thing is that you call it "red meat" and turkey and chicken are white meat...so if it was that red, then I'm actually worrying for you, because it doesn't sound like it was cooked at all...and overly bloody.
On the plus side, if you've got anything, then you'll be noticing the effects quickly. With salmonella and food poisoning, the effects can be felt as quickly as a few hours after eating...but definitely before 24 hours. So I guess now all you can do is wait.

Neither turkey or chicken are actually red meat, they are both classed as white meat. If it was red meat them some blood is the best way to eat it perfectly safe. However, if blood poored from the chicken it was a bit under cooked. This can sorted by a quick Zap in the microwave for two minutes. If you think you have been endangered with food poisoning you will know within 24 hours.

Right, first of all chicken isn't red meat. If it was chicken that you ate, you would have, been able to tell if, it was raw. It would have lots of blood if it was raw.
Surely you wouldn't eat chicken that wasn't cooked properly?
Eating raw meat is very dangerous, and you can get ill from it.
But there is no point worrying about it now. Just wait and see what happens, hopefully and i'm sure you will be absolutely fine.

If it was red meat, it wasn't chicken or turkey. If it was poultry that you ate, then you should be worried because poultry should be cooked thoroughly. If you ate beef (which is red meat) you should be o.k., but that isn't so safe either. No undercooked meats are good for you, actually. There is always a risk if you don't eat your meats fully cooked. Salmonella and bacteria is a serious killer.

1. Neither turkey nor chicken is considered "red" meat; it is poultry.
2. If blood was "pouring" out, it was not properly cooked and you will probably get sick.
3. Are you sure it was chicken or turkey? It could have been rabbit, ostrich, frogs legs, or any one of a number of other foods that "taste like chicken."

I lived on a massive crane that floated around the sea from England ,Russia Norway ,and Mexico, it slept 1,700 people.
And the food was always raw,Honestly a good vet could get it back up and running, and as much as we winged about it,
It never done us any harm.
When i lived in Germany, i got invited to my friends grandparents house, where they laid a slap up meal for me which consisted of the best steak money can buy,But minced with a few herbs thrown in for good measure and a lovely french loaf with butter.
Needless to say i ate loads of bread and butter with salad
But they where rather miffed at the fact i wouldn't touch the meat as it was totally raw.
they actually thought i was a Moslem.

it was undercooked ,did you cook it yourself or was it meat you ate out? and how much did you eat of it , either way it was probably the juice's that was running from it , to make sure its probably cooked the juice's MUST RUN CLEAR , and if your cooking turkey /chicken yourself to be doublely sure remove a bone from the leg it should come away easily. if your asking could you get food poisioning ,it would depend what temperature it was cooked at . i,d say your ok . but turkey /chicken is white meat ,was it BEEF?

Yes, poultry is white meat and shoudl not have any blood coming from it when cooked. You risk food poisonoing if poultry is still raw when served. If you feel at all unwell tomorrow treat it seriously and ask medical advice. You shouldnt have served undercooked chicken

u should ask the person who served it what it was. if they tell u it was turkey or chicken i would be worried

first of all chicken isnt red meat It's white (joke) No but really If I were you I wouldn't have eaten it. There will have been alot of bacteria multiplying through the raw parts of the chicken which can cause a bad stomach upset.
