No, skipping a meal here or there won't hurt you. However, as you pointed out, you understand that you have body issues. While your still healthy, please try to remedy your issues so they do not become a disorder. May I suggest couseling? You shouldn't have to wait until it's a life and death struggle.
I'm fat, but there's a lot of people who are fatter than me! lol...that keeps me from thinking I have to be skin and bones to be pretty and healthy.

Do not skip any meals. Once you start taking in less calories, your body takes what is in your fat stores and turns that to fat. If you are wanting to lose weight and keep your metabolism working for you, eat 5-6 small meals a day spaced 2-3 hours apart. The more often you eat, the harder your metabolism will work for you because you are constantly adding fuel to the fire.

If you are trying to lose weight then skipping meals is a bad idea. Skipping meals slows down your metabolism which is needed to lose weight. The key is to keep you metabolism high by eating every few hours (healthy..example: fruit, veggies) and exercising. Also, skipping meals will probably lead you to become more hungery at your next meal in which you might over eat.

don't eat anything inbetween meals, except maybe fruit, and drink plenty of water. If you really want to skip a meal, skip dinner or have an early dinner, before7. Don't confuse yourself about your weight, if you're fit and healthy and not overweight, just focus on other areas of life, otherwise this can consume you. Good luck.

Don't skip meals. When I do I end up eating more in my next one. It can't be a healthy thing to do.

The secret is to burn fat not starve it, eat healthy and get enough exercise. Your focus shouldn't be on the quantity but quality of foods.
