the best answer i can give you is get a crate that he can stand sit and turn around in, but not much more room than that. If he ha too much room he may start going to the bathroom in there. Also, do not feed him in there. Some water and a few treats are ok, but food stimulates bowel movements. This probably won't help barking though. Goodluck!

You might want to try and cover the front of the cage with a towel or something so he can't see what is going on....soemtimes at my work we have to do that and about 50% of the time it works...the other 50% makes the dogs go even more crazy...

Why are you trying to solve this with a dog carrier? Mini Pins are an issue at the parks where I take my dogs. Please take yours to be socialized. It is never too late, but it may take some work. It is likely that your dog is upset with something. Solve that problem, train him and socialize him, and it will improve. Good luck!

BTW, you should get a carrier or crate that is tall enough for him to stand up in and also about 1 1/2 times his length. That is the standard.

UM??? A dog carrier is not going to make your dog stop barking. Try using a can with pennies and every time he barks shake or throw near (NOT AT THE DOG)and say abruptly,Heah! NO! You can also try a citranella collar it has a bitter smell when dog barks it sprays the mist. You can go on Pet Edge.com i have one for my dog and have used on others, it works well
