I got my nipples peirced 10 days ago and I just thought about it, and I was wondering if you get your nipples peirced, and get pregnant later can you still breast feed?

I know not to breastfeed with a ring in my nipple, and I'm not pregnant now, so by the time I get pregnant and have the ability to breastfeed, they will have healed.

To the person that said it's trampy, that's just your opinion and who cares? My husband LOVES it!!! I didn't ask for your opinion on the peircing, I asked if you can still breastfeed if you've had your nipples peirced. Thank you to everyone that gave a REAL answer.

I have mine done and I was told that you don't even need to take them out during your pregnancy all you need to do is take them out when you are doing the breast feeding, then once you are done put them back in. good luck

sure, that's plausible you may breastfeed when you've your nipples pierced. one in all my ideal friends had pierced nipples and had a touch one some months in the past. She replaced into waiting to nurse without issues. only make constructive you eliminate the jewellery when you're lactating for various causes: a million. the jewellery is a choking threat. 2. the jewellery could get contaminated as a results of toddler's mouth introducing micro organism. 3. in the journey that your breasts are engorged (which occurs usually in the course of the early weeks), it can pull on your earrings and reason soreness and damage on your breast. reliable good fortune!

Yes, you can breastfeed. You should take the piercings out during feedings though.

Okay....YUCK and a bit trampy, but that was not your question.

You'll have to take them out to breastfeed. One could dislodge and choke your child and with all the milk you could get them infected.
