My iTRIP won't work, i tried troubleshooting it but no go, what to do?

I believe this is the option where you can send radio frequencies through the iPod and then tune it in on your car radio right?

Save yourself the trouble, buy a tape adaptor instead. MUCH better sound quality and they cost less than $10. You don't have to buy the Apple brand tape adaptor or anything that says it was made for the iPod either. I have a Sony one that I bought years ago and it works great.
