If you are not in real hurt, I mean serious hurt, you do not deserve an incapacity benefit in the first place. In the second, you sound like the worst kind of idler. Why not get yourself fired and then go for that. Then you will at least be an honest git.

If you're so lazy that you don't want to work anymore, you probably would be the sort of person who would just shrivel up and sit at home all day if he didn't work. Watch TV, drink some beer, be depressed because your life doesn't seem to be going anywhere. How about you go work another job, then you can make more money, and do some fun stuff in your free time, and you'll appreciate life more.

It is people like you that made it so hard for me to fight for disability benefits and still fighting I had an anterior/ posterior spinal fusion with rods and screw in my spine. I worked for 25 years and yeah I was tired of working but I would go back to work this minute if i could get back the past 4 years watch what you do because of karma!!!! I wish you could walk in my shoes for one day and believe me you wouldn't even want to have a pretend injury. Grow up and quit being lazy you probably haven't worked a 40 hour week in your life. be thankful you have a job!!!!!

this is why it's soooooo hard for those people who actually need the benefits to get them. Lazy people like you. Just work and deal with it! I hate my job, am sick of working, and have a bad back, and yes I still am working cuz I know I need to. The benefits are out there for those legit people who need them and a lot of them still need to work cuz it's not much.(barely enough to pay for the bare minimum)

the best way of getting on incapacity benefit is to have a genuine incapacity.

Pretending to have an injury of any kind is fraud, and is punishable by incarceration, fines, or both.

the best way to get your problem started is to job-hunt.

clearly you dont enjoy your job (and thats not a criticism - some jobs just suck!) so get out there and find something you love doing!! maybe in a different country? maybe in a totally different sector? i dont know, but get something that you love doing!

theres too much risk of being caught if you try to con the system (especially now youve posted this on Answers, which is one of the ways that Fraud teams will get info on you), so id avoid trying to fake any illness, and just try and sort the problem directly!

1) benefits 1/3 of wages (if you qualify) and very, very temporary. Stressful. 2) It is difficult to get good job afterwards because it goes on your record. Better to find job you enjoy.

It is difficult to prove you haven't got a bad back. Have you thought of doing a job that you like? It's a win-win situation.
