Because the bottles manufactured by the company are not made to last for a long time, and eventually the chemicals will leech out of the plastic into the drink, and it can be very harmful. But the bottles that are actually made to be reused, the heavier plastic ones, are made of a better quality plastic. Also, I think the companies make the bottles cheaply so you won't/can't reuse them and then you have to buy more bottled water, thus giving the company more money.

when you reuse the bottle you are not able to thoroughly clean the spout. So they are telling you as a precaution not to reuse. So you can't sue them over the germs or diseases you may get from the bottle being used over and over again.

It is all about liability. In the past people had drinkin the filtered water then put their own water in the bottle. After using it over and over without washing it bacteria started to form and they got sick and died. Now they don't wanna get sued for stupid people who think you dont have to wash the bottle.

because of bacteria grows very well in the bottle and the plastic will eventually break down into the water both of them will make you very sick. it's also a liability thing on the company

It all depends on what the bottle was made of . Not all plastics are recyclable, Of maybe you can't use this bottle again because it is a recyclable.

Because the damp insides of bottles are a breeding ground for bacteria. It could make you sick.

becuz more than likely you would use it to put water from your home in, and they would rather have you buy another bottle
