Any time you've got fuel pressure problems the first thing to replace is the fuel filter.

If after replacing the fuel filter, and you still don't have enough pressure, then you need to get the fuel rails pressure tested to ensure that the rails are getting enough fuel.

If they aren't getting enough fuel pressure then you've got the fuel pressure regulator and the fuel pump.

If they are getting enough fuel pressure, then it's most likely your injectors are dirty and not firing well enough to get enough fuel into your system.

When you disconenct the fuel line from the engine, is there pressure? There should be a good amount of pressure, if there is no pressure, then it is your fuel pump. The fuel pump is suppose to keep fuel in the lines that way its easier for the engine to start. When they go bad, sometimes the fuel pump lets the fuel go back into the tank, so you will be able to tell when you disconnect the fuel line(s). If you need help finding where the fuel lines are, I would recommend going to a library and getting a CHILTON book for your vechile, or just going and buying one at an auto parts store. They are very handy to have. Good Luck

The first thing that I would look at is the fuel filter.
