Depends on your culture and beliefs. In Asia you might have dog or cat, or in France they have horse. Then there are places like India with Hindu's that won't eat a cow (or really any meat). The simple fact is that all these animals are made of meat and depending on your culture you might eat it.
I personally could not eat these animals because I have a fond affection for them. Howver chicken doesn't offend me so I would eat it anytime.

keep in mind that ANYYYY animal captured should be considered as a puppy. canines were hunted as nutrition because the days of Neanderthal guy. canines in captivity do no longer attain adulthood as quick as chickens, farm animals or pigs. I have eaten canines meat (keygogi) after I lived there in Korea. My Korean spouse cooked it properly, and right pro and cooked style wonderful. I have considered those canines on the Korean markets in Pusan. those canines are specifically breed canines that are breed for the only purpose of butchering. they don't seem TAME through any skill, and could bite you basically like a wolf ought to. they're large, shaggy and extremely advise searching. I have under no circumstances considered the different breed like each one of those canines. Many Koreans do no longer eat canines because it really is extra severe priced that different sorts of meat. If given the alternative they likely ought to eat extra of it if it replaced into no longer so severe priced.

I think it all depends on your cultural background. I know that in India cows are considered sacred.

cows are red meat, chicken and pigs are white meat. dogs are also red meat and not bad to eat, the way the Koreans fix it. it's a type of bar-b-que, called kosogi (? not sure of spelling). any way, don't knock it if you ain't tried it.
