My friend is in a serious relationship and he is in love but not happy sexually. He’s more on the kinky always horny side and she is not, in other words a prude. He feels he can’t be open with her, and I encourage him too, but he has mentioned minor things that are kinky to her and she was not interested. I tell him this is going to be a huge problem for him, cause most likely he’ll be bored in a while, but he thinks that because he loves her it won’t matter. I think that sex is extremly important and Im actually shocked that he is with her, cause I know how he is. What do you think?

Yes, you are correct. It doesn't matter how much or how little or how kinky. What matters is that both partners want the same. And compatibility in this area is as important as compatibility in things like money and children.

Sex is very important. Specially two extremes like these will become the a huge issue. Most people want to feel satisfied. Sex is no different. So, unless she can take it up a notch and he can take it down a few, they are doomed.
They real question is, why are YOU so invested?

sex compatibility is usually important in a relationship, at the beginning the man could be saying its ok and sex does not matter but eventually he will have to resort to self gratification or look for some other woman with out her knowledge, the best way to keep your man isno only through his stomach but also keeping his bed warm, it goes the other way around too if a woman is not satisfied with her partner she will have an out side affair

Sex is very important to guys! many guys actually can't fully love somone without sex. guys see sex as a form of love. not wanting to have sex with a guy is one off the biggest rejections to them. They think " I want her so badley, why doesn't she want me......*sad face*" if you can, you should try to talk to her and tell her this for him, if not you have to try to convince him to tell her, if you go online, you can find articles on the stuff i just told you. some hard core evidence that millions of other guy's feel then need sex to love somone will go a loooong way. proof that he isn't just some horney guy that wants to get laid will help her feel like she should not be afraid to do this. maby she really isn't sure that he isn't some horny guy that wants to get laid. she needs to know that he really cares for her. good luck with this! i hope i helped you out!!!

He's probably giving her a "window" period for her to warm up and come around until she agrees with his sexual appetite, but if not, he will eventually start getting some on the side and will eventually break up with her, unless he is a homo and the whole relationship is a cover up, but even if it is, he will eventually come out with that info too.

It does matter. He just hasn't had the best of experience...so he feels it doesn't matter to him.
Kinda like guys who have been hurt so bad that they would rather just masturbate than have sex because of the emotions they relate to sex.
And it's kinda like being a virgin, you really don't miss what you never had.
If he had really, really, great, mind-blowing, can't-move-for-awhile-sex, he'd know what he was missing. And he's realize that it is important.
