For the record, I do not black out or run about naked - just hate the feeling of not remembering everyting you've said.

Also, do not drink a lot - maybe every couple of months - more at Christmas!

alcohol is a depressant. if you are wound up when you get drunk, you tend to relax. the next day there is somewhat of a residual left. that's what causes you to feel depressed.

I never feel that way. I am just wondering if you ever blackout when drunk. Maybe you do things that are degrading to yourself and can't remember doing them and perhaps that is why you feel guilty. What exactly do you feel guilty about?

I don't feel at all guilty. Just as long as it's not every night, getting drunk sometimes if fine. What do you feel guilty about?

i know what you mean! its weird as i'll go out and enjoy myself but at the back of my mind i'm always feeling a bit guilty. think its because i worry what i'm doing to myself and i smoke when i drink too so always regret that!!
