I get them A LOT, I think it's to do with my poor diet (fizzy drinks, no fruit or veg, too much salt). They get worse when I'm run down as well. Haven't managed to find anything that helps, just have to grin and bear it. Oh yes, going down on my wife doesn't help, either!

ok Me and my dad have been to doctors we both have these problems. Sometimes when you eat too much acidic foods as in (tomatoes, soda, fruits etc...) will cause this. If you are a huge fruit eater and you eat alot of acidic fruits this could be why.
I have also heard the about the lack of certain minerals being the cause. Also that it can be from bacteria in the body. But if ya eat healthier take vitamins regularly and watch how much fruits and such that you take in they seem to stay away and clear up faster. Lots of water!!

If you get mouth ulcers often you should go and see your doctor, as they can be a symptom of more serious illnesses. It was the first symptom I had of Crohns disease. However they often mean you are run down generally

usually you get those sores if you walk around bare foot on a cold floor. If your body isn't really used to it you'll break out with those sores.Or it could be an allergic reaction to somthing,or hopefully not,you kissed somebody with a dirty mouth! A good antibiotic ointment should get rid of those, just go to your local drug store and look for cold sore meds. Camphor Phenique works good, try it out.Or rinse your mouth out with a little bit of 1/3cup warm water and 2tsp of salt, that should help with the one on your tongue.

they are caused by too much stomach acid....and too much stomach acid is caused by stress and eating too many acidic foods.....citrus fruit and tomatoes have a high acid content......try some rolaids or mylanta to help with the stomach acid and cut out your trigger foods.....also too much caffinated soda will cause ulcers too because to the carbonation and caffeine.....
