Contrary to the other answers here it may not be necessary to 'have them out'!!! Tho they are a pain if in a difficult position to clean. Treatment tonight should include: rinsing on the painful side with warm salt water or better still corsydyl mouthwash from chemist. try to gently brush the area with your tooth brush(i know its sore) dipping in the salt water or corsydyl. if too painful put bonjela on the brush. this will remove some of the bugs. take ibuprofen 200-400mg. clening area is most important!!!! do the above cycle every few hrs. if pain persisting may need antibiotics from doctor/dentist. xDr spx

Generally, this type of pain will not stop until the problem is corrected. You need extraction. Try aspirin or Motrin for the pain and inflammation. Take these with food. Try a heating pad. See a dentist as soon as possible. I hope you feel better soon.

One thing would be go see a Dentist. Or get a cold pack and place it where the pain is, take a Excedrin lay day and relax this use to work for me but you would be better seeing a Dr.

Ice pack for your mouth I'd say put a cotton ball in your ear. Your head should stop hurting too.

Ibuprofen is the best thing for dental pain, but you might have an infection so its better to see your dentist for some antibiotics.
