You have an auto-immune disease. There are no remedies or cures for auto-immune diseases. You can just treat the symptoms. If you get proper treatment for the symptoms, you will be fine.

You need prescription medication to treat Hashimoto's. The brand name is synthroid.

I am going to assume you mean an underactive thyroid....
You will need a prescription to get you back up to speed. I don't think any of those so-called natural remedies actually work.
However, you may want to ask your doctor about a prescription that is made from natural sources, rather than synthroid(which is what I have been on for years and I think it works just fine, but everyone is different).

My husband has the same thing. I don't think there are any natural remedies for this. The medication consists of a hormone which is produced by the pituitary gland and required by the thyroid for its proper functioning. The pituitary gland is basically "dead" and is not supplying the hormone needed by the thyroid. You need to replace the hormone by taking it orally. The medication is safe and not too expensive. You should expect to see your energy level pick up after taking the medication. You will need to see a doctor who can determine the proper dosage by a blood test. You will probably have to go in for a few blood tests while the doctor adjusts the dosage to find the perfect dosage for your body. You will have to take the medication for the rest of your life. You need to take it on an empty stomach and then wait for (I think) 1/2 hour minimum before you eat anything.

Making dietary changes is your first line of defense in treating hypothyroidism. Learn here https://tr.im/lrRtb

Many people with hypothyroidism experience crippling fatigue and brain fog, which prompts reaching for non-nutritional forms of energy like sugar and caffeine. I’ve dubbed these rascals the terrible twosome, as they can burn out your thyroid (and destabilize blood sugar).

1. Just say no to the dietary bungee cord. Greatly reduce or eliminate caffeine and sugar, including refined carbohydrates like flour, which the body treats like sugar. Make grain-based carbohydrates lesser of a focus, eating non-starchy vegetables to your heart’s content.

2. Up the protein. Protein transports thyroid hormone to all your tissues and enjoying it at each meal can help normalize thyroid function. Proteins include nuts and nut butters; quinoa; hormone- and antibiotic-free animal products (organic, grass-fed meats, eggs, and sustainably-farmed fish); and legumes.
