Creamy Baked Mashed Potaotes

1 envelope Lipton Recipe Secrets Vegetable Recipe Soup Mix
4 cups hot mashed potatoes, unsalted
1 cup shredded cheddar or swiss cheese, divided
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/8 teaspoon pepper

Preheat oven to 375F. In lightly greased casserole, thoroughly combine all ingredients except 1/4 cup cheese. Bake 40 minutes. Top with remaining cheese and bake an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.



Glazed Carrots

Water
2 lbs carrots, peeled and cut in large chunks
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup butter
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

In a large saucepan over medium heat, in 1 inch boiling water heat carrots and 1/2 teaspoon salt to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 15 minutes or until tender-crisp; drain. Add butter, sugar, nutmeg and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Return mixture to heat and cook, stirring constantly, until carrots are glazed.

hello I make stuffing a little different but everyone loved it I use the reg. stove top stuffing and 1 whole chicken I boil the chicken when done I keep the broth and take the chicken off bone and then I use the broth instead of water and then cut up the chicken and mix it in to the stuffing it is real good....of course green bean casserole

i always cook a dish called broccoli rice and cheese casserole. The recipes is simple. here is the recipe for it. 1 cup of cooked rice,1 big jar of cheese whiz,1 medium size onion chopped& cooked,1 (16 oz) package of frozen chopped broccoli,1 can of cream of chicken,1 can of cream of celery and 1 stick of butter. First cook your rice set it aside. then cook your onion then mix your broccoli and cheese whiz together then your 2 soups then put in the cake size pan.then cut your butter in small pieces then put it all over the mixture in the pan. Bake it the oven @350 for 1hr or until the cheese is bubbly. the sevre. it is great good....My whole family loves it. My three year old loves it too....and she doesn't like alot of things...

I always make a green chile stuffing, I just chop up some chilies ( fresh roasted not canned )

I love turnips, Yams with syrup and brown sugar and marshmellows, cuccumber salsa, or a mango salsa,, easy to do and kicks it up ,, and of course you can brighten up the plate with a corn salsa with pimentos or finely chopped up red bell peppers and some japelenos

turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce, dinner rolls, gravy, candied yams, mashed potatoes, macaroni & cheese, green bean casserole, broccoli cheese and rice casserole, and plenty of desserts like apple and pumpkin pie goes good.
