You can do it! That's 10 pounds a month you need to lose for seven months, so that's 2.5 pounds a week--which is perfectly healthy! You need to get very serious and and make a commitment to yourself that you will lose 2.5 pounds a week (think of it this way so it isn't so overwhelming). Make yourself do at least 15-20 minutes a day of some kind of cardio, whether it be walking, aerobics, or just turning on some music and dancing. You should also do some toning excercises maybe every other day for 15-20 minutes. Other than that, drink LOTS of water and cut out any soft drinks and try to eat a healthy diet with lots of fruits and especially vegetables. Good Luck! Stay strong and you can accomplish your goal! : )

70 lbs is a lot of weight to lose. Anything more than two pounds a week is pushing your luck. See a doctor and be sure to go see one if you start feeling very faint, or if you faint inexplicably during your weight-loss regimen.

Start by cutting out all unnecessary stuff. That means no sodas. That's just straight sugar. Cut out even diet sodas. Get used to not drinking them.

Forget about fast food. It's just straight fat.

Find a way to incorporate lots (and I mean LOTS) of veggies in your meals. Stirfrying peppers with chicken strips is a good start.

Your breakfast should be oatmeal. Not bacon and eggs. If you must have cereal, have one with little sugar, but high in fiber or whole grain. Cheerios are a good tried and true choice. Use skim milk, or soymilk. Not 2%, not whole milk.

Allow yourself a few luxuries, but keep in mind thatthe more luxuries you allow yourself the less likely you will lose weight. I mean a few chocolate squares a day, or something similar. THAT DOES NOT MEAN A FEW SNICKERS BARS! I mean a few squares of a Dove bar, or a Hershey's with Almonds bar.

Your carbs should not be stuff like mashed potatoes. They should be like brown rice, couscous, bulgur wheat, quinoa or millet. Avoid simple carbs because the body digests them very quickly and with little effort. That means that your body spends lilttle energy in breaking down your food, so more of it makes it into your system.

Keep hydrated. Get a Brita pitcher and make sure that you drink the contents of at least one pitcher equivalent a day.

Very important: Start exercising. Start by walking 15 minutes a day. The next week do it for 30 minutes. If walking is not your bag, then try riding a bicycle. Youu don't need to be Lance Armstrong, but you do need to bump up your heart rate. Unfortunately it is winter now, so you will need to keep warm. A stationary bike is not a bad idea. If you want a total body workout, try a rowing machine. Ever seen a rower that is not fit as can be? There's a reason for that.

well i had a friend who was overweight, and i encouraged her to join the gym w/ me. it seemed as though it was quite easy for her to lose the first 20-40 lbs... but after that, the last 20-30 were really hard, and she didn't have as much discipline. but she is still better off than she was before.

here is what i suggest to you: do at least 45-60 minutes a DAY of cardio....if u can't, do at least 3 times a week and the other days do some weights or other type of "focused" training, like abs, etc.

regulate ur eating..what i did for awhile was create a daily journal of all the things i ate. i made sure most of what i ate i could find the calorie count (from fast food websites, etc), and tried to keep it below 2000 calories. also, sometimes i would try to eat most of the calories during the day, and by dinner time eat very little or skip if i wasn't hungry. it's better to eat more in the morning than at night, cuz u go to work or exercise and burn more calories during the day. also, it helps to go work out in the Morning, so that ur metabolism kicks up all day!~

good luck, and try not to get upset when u don't see results. u have to do this for at least 2 months before u actually see a difference, but u will feel better after a few weeks!! :)

70 pounds in 7 months will take a lot of dedication. I lost 53 pounds in about 6 months on Atkins. I also danced for about an hour every day and I walked everywhere I went. No elevators or escalators for me either. I drank so much water, I practically lived in the bathroom.

If you do atkins though, I highly recommend staying away from those artificially low-carb products massed produced. They will sabotage your new lifestyle and produce a very unpleasant amount of gas.

I also recommend latin dancing. It works your core muscles and is very energizing.

Best of luck to you.

PS.
I noticed that someone recommended Herbalife. It is a healthy way to go, if you can contain yourself to drinking your meals. But it's much slower than what you're looking for and hunger can be a problem. I couldn't stay on it for long, though it did wonderful things to my skin.

When doing low carb, though, DO eat your vegetables. The green kind. It will provide you with much needed fiber that will not only keep you regular, it will also help you control your appetite. If you have problems with constipation, try adding flax seeds to your diet. You can get them at the vitamin shoppe in mixable form.

70 pounds in 7 months is quite a challenge. As an experienced personal trainer, I would suggest you start by educating yourself with a proper diet and the glycemic index. Controlling your blood sugar levels is key in controlling your hunger. After that, you can devise a proper diet that will facilitate a healthy weight loss program. Of course, exercise is crucial in this process also. If you're not accustomed to an exercise routine, find yourself a personal trainer at the local gym. They will be able to guide you in the right direction to achieve your weight loss goals. One final piece of advice: eat less, move more.

The something you do not desire is to lose it speedy. If you do, you're going to become with wiggly baggy epidermis when you do, and it may not leave. For wasting weight, you must emerge as lively. If you drink soda, quit. Soda is almost always sugar, and extra sugar will get saved as fats. Cut WAY again at the junk meals you consume, reduce on deep fats fried and take out meals, and reduce on pasta. For beverages, drink a LOT of water; substitute the soda with one hundred% fruit juice beverages. At your measurement, you will have to begin small, with strolling, simply do not push your self too difficult. it'll get simpler so that you can stroll quicker and for longer intervals as you drop some pounds. That will do for a begin. Good success

Hi,
I've tried all different diets, and the weight loss is only temporary. I finally tried diet pills on the market are made from Hoodia. I saw this stuff on ABC News. It's all natural and safe, and it works! My wife took it for a month and dropped 20 pounds. I took it for a month and lost about 13 (but I didn't exercise).

I bought the natural hoodia from this website: http://www.alllsite.info/free-diet-pills.php . I checked the web site address so I can post it here and I saw they're running a promotion now to get a free 2 week sample for only $4.97! I'm going to order this supply for my wife and give it to her for Christmas =)

I tell everyone to go to this website because I know it will work for anyone. You need to go there too. I got on one of the programs not to long ago, just to try it out and I have lost several pounds and inches, so I know it will work for you. The products are safe and all-natural. Most of all they are the most healthiest (my opinion). Check out the website. Fill out the contact page. Someone will get with you and discuss with you all you need to know, and how to get started ASAP ! Good Luck to you.

This does not seem healthy. Talk to your doctor first. You are going to have to pretty much live in the gym for the next 7 months
