It probably wasn't the fishing you liked, It was how you were getting away for the ball and chain by using (I'm going fishing meant, I'm going drinking) to get away.

Fishing is boring, unless you are spear fishing in shark infested waters. In this scenario, sobriety is key. Otherwise, you may have to find a new hobby.

maybe because you never went fishing for the real pleasure of fishing . i go clean and sober and never have to catch a fish it's so relaxing . try it the next time you go
