Ok now i have plans to go for a vacation .(2days)...confused which one to chose nyc orATL. any ideas.
P.S: Budget 200$ excluding bus charge/2days. ANY TIPS?

P.S :
ACCOMODATION BOOKED to NYC :30$ /DAY -2 DAYS. SO 60$ gone.
PRIVATE BUS from DC to NYC RT only 40$ . can u believe this ;)yeh this is true.
so i have 100$ to spend on 2 days. just to spend it..so will add another 100$.so 200$ to spend for food.hangout..bar..movie..i think its possible..

In my experience the South is always cheaper. However, it is very difficult to walk anywhere in Atlanta whereas you can walk most anywhere in Manhattan. That way you save yourself all the $ you would have spent on MARTA (metro) rides, because in NYc you don't really need to take the subway unless you are in a hurry to get somewhere. I spent a week in NYC once where I think I rode the subway a total of four times, and two of those were because it was raining and didn't feel like getting soaked.

NYC would be cheaper being as you are on a budget.
