Well I Started with a prepaid visa from orchard bank and i must say it was the best thing I could do to get my credit going. After that then go for the real stuff. I Hope this helps.

I think it is about the same either way it goes you have to know how much the credit line is on the card so you don't go over.

some pre-paid cards charge hefty fees...make sure you fully understand all the terms involved with a pre-paid card.
