I thinkk the Elidel will help you a lot. My little cousin has the same issue and the cream has really helped him out. His itching has stopped and he looks a lot better. Good luck

elidel will definately help...i have had chronic eczema for about 10 years. your eczema will never COMPLETELY go away once u have it, but reducing it is the only thing u can do. about 3 years ago i started using elidel when by dermatologist prescribed it to me. It started to reduce it within months and was the most effective medicine i had been on. prior to elidel..i had used soo many other medicines, even cortizones. the cortizones harmed my skin because of the steroids in it, but elidel is steroid free and works sooo well. however at first, elidel was not the only thing that i had to use. i had to use another ointment called triamcinolone, which was a steroid, but i only used it for 2 weeks to really get control on my eczema. ask ur doctor or dermatologist for a prescrption of this. then i used my elidel about 3 times a day on my affected areas, and gradually reduced it down to once a day. now, i still use it to maintain how it is abt once a day right after i take a shower. my eczema no longer bothers me and my dermatologist said that this is as close to cured as it can get. elidel definately helped.
if u have any more questions, feel free to email me. its on my profile.

My little boy had eczema on his cheeks. I was not sure what method to use but I didn't want to make my boy go through any surgery treatments at this young age. Some suggested a plastic surgeon since it was in a very visible location but our family doctor recommend this natural guide.

Best Eczema Treatment?

I think you should go to an allergist. If your eczema is localized in a specific area, it may be a sign of a food allergy. My wife kept getting a rash on her shin that flared up occasionally and creams did not help.

Well, an allergist told her she is wheat-intolerant. As soon as she reduced her intake of wheat the rash diminished to a more manageable level.

The best treatment for rashes is ice. It will reduce the inflammation and numb the skin so that it does not itch/hurt. Try alcohol swabs and wash your hands frequently to avoid getting infections or embedding something even worse in your skin.
