The most common symptom of lice infestation is itching. If you notice you're scratching your head often, especially behind the ears or at the nape of the neck, check for lice. Usually lice can be found in these areas. Also, do frequent checks with a comb specifically for head lice.

You will see bugs crawling in the hair. Also, check the area of hair behind the ears that is wear they lay their eggs.

IT itches and you have little bugs crawling around..you have little white nits sticking to your hair that won't brush out..it looks like dandruff in your hair.
