hey man, sorry for ur loss. my brother passed away about 3 months ago and it still hurts as much as ever, i actually got a tattoo in honor of him.

its a cross in the middle of my back with his initials and d.o.b. and d.o.d. in it. i got this done because he had a similar one on his back, and it was also the first tattoo he had ever gotten as well. my other brother also got a tattoo, but he got a spider web on his left arm around the elbow, which was also the last tattoo my departed brother ever got. so, really, just try to get something that u think ur father would have liked. it doesnt necessarily have to have ur father's name in it, but it should have some sort of meaning

OK, you don't wish to place whatever for your wrists for the sensible undeniable fact that while you cross and observe to a most important organization, you are going to be shaking palms with scorching shot humans and a tattoo at the wrist will appear cheesy. If you're quite short of a tattoo, get it someplace wherein it may be hid appropriately even as dressed in a swimsuit to paintings (hoping you are going to cross to institution and pursue an schooling) This is my opinion, so if I'm being harsh, I'm sorry.

How large a tatt do you want? Some tattoo artists specialize in portrait tattoos. All you need to do it take in a picture of your dad and they will draw it and tattoo it on you. I've seen this done on Miami Ink, it's awesome.

memorial tattoos are a wonderful way to honor and remember someone. is there something special you and your dad shared? faith? an inside joke? is there an object that reminds you of him? it doesn't have to make sense to anybody but you. whatever you feel would honor his memory best.
i have a memorial tattoo on my foot it's a skull. it is just there to remind me of the people that i loved and lost and that life does end. good luck!

You could get a nice cross with his name and his year of birth and year of death.... I agree with getting it in black and white.. It is much better that way.. Maybe you could get it on your back or shoulder.. Good luck
